School of Intern'L Studies at Meadowbrook Reviews

This school has a great reputation among Norfolk parents who care about high quality public education for their children. Based on our research of Norfolk area school options, the curriculum here appears to be comparable and even superior to those found in some area private schools. While the uniform policy seems rather austere and too out of touch with current social norms, it is another appealing aspect of this school. SISM would be a perfect fit for our kids once we return from our overseas duty station. Too bad attendance is purely based on lottery!

This school is a treasure with even greater potential. Our son is in his first year here and has thrived in it's small, safe, and academically focused environment. The staff are dedicated to academic success and readily available for student support. We appreciate the opportunity to study foreign language and military science in 6th grade. The potential to earn high school credit in several subjects is a great opportunity. We would like to see a better incorporation of the study of different countries in the curriculum.
