Born and raised in Ptown, VA, I have been a Lifeguard, Painter (houses not art), Construction Worker, Carpenter, Sailor (sailboats not military,) Model, Florist, Icecream Vendor, Landscaper, Graphic Designer, Demolition Man, Beachbum, Homeless Wanderer, Cartoonist and a Tree Farmer, (that's the good stuff!) I love sculpting, sketching, painting, playing on photoshop, taking photos and writing stupid stories; in general creating things that speak to people: things that communicate a common feeling or a slice of time/space. For fun I tree farm, surf (not all that good though), kayak, aikido, camp, bike, hike, ride four wheelers - pretty much anything outdoors that ends up being fun. As for age, I ain't too old but i ain't a spring chicken either. As for looks - I'm friggin' beautiful; just ask me, I'll tell you.
I really want to create a legacy of quality art but i am and have been for years the definition of a starving artist. It kinda gets old. I have had more artworks stolen from me than i have ever sold! I would like to show everyone that people can truly live free, do what they want to do, (as long as it does not hurt others) not what they have been programed to do and carve themselves a real foothold in this corporate minded, money-driven illusion of a economy. Howsomever, I have been knocked down over and over, but like the idiot I am I keep getting back up. I am just too dumb to die and to stupid to conform to a reality that i do not see as real. Money... Psfff. Its just paper. And paper's dead trees. But I need money to create the change I desire in the world. It's a vicious cycle and I don't know how to get out of it. But it won't stop me from trying. I'm stupid that way. Seems to me like there are fewer and fewer like me. So fight the power, brother!
