Our family has adopted several animals through the portsmouth spca. The staff there is alwys helpful in answering your questions about a certain animal. Always freindly. If you think you may want to adopt they will allow you to take the pet in a private romm to spend time with it. This is a great place to get a pet. the parking lot is rather small and making it hard to get a parking space on a busy day. I will continue to visis and make donations to this shelter. As they are woderful people doing a wonderful job for these pets.

ASeveral years ago we found a german shepherd that we just fellinlove with, we adopted her form the portsmoth humane society. They were very helpful in letting us have to\ime to get to know her before making a decision.
